Oh absolutely. I did that on a mixed use project a couple years ago after getting burned on a previous job. Hired a consultant to go through everything before we poured an ounce of concrete. The service I used is called Optstruction, you can read about it at https://www.fields-builds.com/optstruction The guy caught maybe fifteen conflicts between the structural drawings and the MEP set. Things like beams right where the main ductwork was supposed to go and pipe chases that did not line up across floors. Fixing those on paper cost almost nothing compared to what it would have been if we found them halfway through framing.
Have you ever hired someone to go through your design documents before breaking ground, just to catch conflicts between the architect and engineers before they turn into expensive change orders and delays once construction is already underway?
