Trying to understand the cost of interlocking paver installation

We just completed a new interlocking driveway project last year, and I'm very pleased with the result. The work was done by a team specializing in interlocking installation in Toronto by Oaks Home Services. They first conducted a detailed site assessment, then prepared the subfloor and laid the paving stones with great precision. I was particularly impressed that after the winter, everything looked as level as the day it was finished. The project took only a few days, even though the area was quite large. If anyone is currently looking for professionals for a similar project, I would definitely recommend considering them.

Prices can vary a lot depending on the ground preparation and the type of pavers you choose. In my area the base work often ends up being the biggest part of the cost.

I’m thinking about making some pathways on my property using interlocking pavers, but right now I just want to understand the approximate cost. How much do contractors usually charge per square meter (or square foot) for interlocking installation these days?
