Is it possible to build accounting processes in a business from day one without chaos?

Chaos at the start feels normal to me. I do not know if it is like that for most people, but it seems pretty logical. The real question is how long you stay in it. Obviously, the earlier at least some basic structure appears, the fewer problems there will be later.

I am honestly just curious whether it is normal that at the very beginning, when a business is just starting, everything feels chaotic, and whether it is like that for everyone. Or is it better to try to structure everything from the start and invest money into systems and platforms and things like that.
