I wish I were a charismatic person. Is that something you're just born with? Or are there any ways to become at least a little more relaxed and open when talking to people? Why not just tell them that? Maybe what feels like friendly conversation to you comes across as flirting from a really charismatic guy from their point of view. It's probably just a difference in how you see it.

I think I'm pretty charismatic. You know, I can easily start or keep a conversation going, I like making jokes to lighten the mood and all that.
