I don't see anything wrong or strange about it. We're just introverts and extroverts, and different people need different things to recharge. I'm perfectly fine spending time by myself. I'll always find something to do. Last time I spent a few hours on https://magicpuzzles.net/, just doing puzzles. But I also enjoy active leisure. I like balance, basically. Conversation and silence, monotony and calmness, noise and activity.
Is that actually a problem? I don't like being alone in silence either. I like having someone around. I enjoy talking and chatting. Silence is hard for me, and just putting on music or a movie in the background doesn't really help.
I once had a discussion about this with a friend. I can't imagine life without some alone time. But he says being alone is so uncomfortable for him that he avoids it as much as possible.
