Pvt chit fund organiser dupes public

Vizianagaram: A person, who is running a school in Vizianagaram fled away with public money of around Rs 7 crore. As per the information, O Rajasekhar and his wife Gayathri have been running a school named Sairam Public school in Vakkalanka Vaari Street.  Apart from this he is also director of another school in this town.

Within few years, Rajasekhar gained popularity in the locality by maintaining good relations with neighbours.  He along with his wife also organised chit fund business and used to collect money from the local public. He claimed that he has links and relations with big wigs and convinced the public and collected money from several people.

Later, he promised the public that he would pay more interest than the banks and collected around Rs 7 crore. However, he along with his wife left the town 10 days back and informed the neighbours that they were going to Shirdi and would return within few days. But they did not come back and locals found that the couple has fled away. The victims have met the district authorities and lodged a complaint.
