The winter session of West Bengal Assembly starting November 7 promises to be a stormy one with the Opposition gearing up to attack the All India Trinamool Congress on various issues ranging from the Saradha scam to the recent spurt in political violence in certain parts of the State.
While the Congress intends to bring a no-confidence motion against the State Government, the Communist Party of India (Marxist)-led Left Front on Monday demanded a discussion on the declining law and order situation in form of an adjournment motion.
Asked to comment on the plans of the Opposition, Speaker of West Bengal Assembly Biman Banerjee said that he will decide on the issue when a formal proposal comes up.
