Odisha: CBI arrests Congress leader, builder in coonetion with chit-fund scam

Bhubaneswar: The CBI, probing into the mega chit-fund scam in Odisha, arrested Congress leader and businessman Dillip Mohanty and builder Vineet Lalani on Wednesday for their alleged link with chit fund company Artha Tatwa (AT) Group.



Both of them came to the CBI office at around 4 pm and were interrogated for more than 3 hours by the investigating officers. Dillip had business links with AT Group. He played the role of mediator in order to sell a land at Sundarpada on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. In return, he was gifted with a luxurious flat from the AT Group.
