MP Ghosh Contributes to TMC Fund

KOLKATA: Suspension from the party for anti-party activities hasn’t been a deterrent to Trinamool Congress (TMC) Rajya Sabha MP Kunal Ghosh, who has been behind bars for almost a year for his involvement in the multi-crore Sardha chit fund scam, from contributing to the party fund.



Express learnt that `10,000 is being debited each month from Ghosh’s State Bank of India savings account at the Sansad Marg branch in New Delhi and credited to the TMC party fund bank account.



Ghosh was arrested November last after being questioned by the special investigation team of Bidhannagar City Police that was set up to probe the Saradha scam. The CBI has also chargesheeted him in the case.
