A French master perfumer brand introduces a range of fragrancing products that should keep its legion of fans happy.
A DECADE ago, when Datuk Julie Lim came across the exquisite range of French master perfumer brand Lampe Berger in Malaysia, she was impressed by what it could do.
At that time the brand was available in Malaysia through a multilevel marketing company, so Lim became a member just to buy the lamp for personal use. Little did she imagine that this brand would play a prominent role in her future.
Following a two-year stint in property investment in the 1980s, Lim founded Tatiana, a French couture and pret-a-porter fashion house in Kuala Lumpur in 1992. When Lampe Berger’s contract with the MLM company ended, Lim was approached to take over the brand’s distribution in Malaysia.
