Javita Adds Botanical Expert to Research & Development Team

Javita is pleased to announce Monica Johnson will be coming on board as Javita's Director of Botanical Research and Scientific Advisor.

Johnson will be a crucial part of the Javita team, using her extensive knowledge of the medicinal qualities of herbs, extracts and botanicals and years of experience formulating a vast array of products to help develop third-party tools, provide scientific evidence to medical professionals and guide formulations of future products.

Johnson joins Javita with years of experience in botanical research. She is the president and founder of Archmore Botanical Research Group, a Texas-based entity that specializes in formulating the highest quality of efficacious products based on natural materials for health and wellness companies. Johnson formed this company in 2008, after working in the natural products industry for nearly two decades, formulating over 50 new products for the international healthcare market.

She has held positions with large international firms as the head of research and development teams and technical sales teams to assist in producing top quality products made from the highest quality materials. With a background in genetics, botany and ethnobotany, Johnson posses unique skills and resources to bring health and wellness products to the masses, while sourcing ingredients that use the most environmentally and eco-friendly techniques for long term global sustainability.

Johnson holds a Master's Degree in Genetics and a Bachelor's Degree in Botany with an emphasis in Conservation Genetics from Brigham Young University. As a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists New York Chapter, she has been a repeat guest speaker at the HBA national conventions. Johnson is often published as an industry knowledge leader, particularly in reference to botanical safety and supplement quality.
