EOW arrests man for conducting QNet workshop

The Economic Offenses Wing of the Mumbai police arrested a person in connection with conducting training workshops for the scam tainted QNet company on Sunday.



Tarun Ratnani, who has been associated with the company for the last three years, was caught red-handed by the EOW team while holding a training session for dozens of people at a hall in Andheri (W).



The marketing firm QNet has been embroiled in a scam involving fraud and cheating of over one lakh investors. In August last year, EOW had registered an FIR against QNet and its Indian franchise Vihaan, for allegedly duping investors of crores of rupees by offering to sell products such as magnetic disks, herbal products and holiday schemes through alleged fraudulent practices.
