Special Task Force (STF) on Wednesday arrested mining baron Sudhir Sharma afresh in connection with sub-inspector recruitment exam-2012 scam. He was already in jail in connection with police constable recruitment exam-2012 scam.
According to STF officials, Sharma had helped four candidates in passing the written exam of sub-inspector recruitment-2012 fraudulently. The exam was conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) and Sharma had links with MPPEB officials including Nitin Mahindra and Pankaj Trivedi.
He was later produced in the court and remanded to STF custody till November 17.
He is also a suspect in other cases related to the MPPEB scam.
He is a close associate of former minister Laxmikant Sharma who is already in jail in connection with his role in the MPPEB scam.
