KALAMAZOO, MI – The name of a Kalamazoo business is being used to recruit employees for an online work-from-home scam, according to an alert issued Thursday by the Better Business Bureau Serving Western Michigan.
Better Business Bureau officials said they learned of the scam this month after they were notified by officials at All-N-One Delivery, a trucking company located at 841 Gibson St.
It's the third time since 2010 that the company's name has been used in unauthorized job postings referring consumers and job seekers to fake websites that included All-N-One Delivery's company information, according to the BBB alert.
BBB officials said All-N-One Delivery does not currently have an active website and any website URL provided in an online job listing does not belong to the business and should be reported to the BBB.
"it is believed that those behind the job postings and websites are attempting to recruit consumers to provide personal information, possibly to create accounts without the consumers permission to open credit accounts, bank accounts, etc. or act as a 'reshipper' for merchandise to be sent to foreign locations," officials said in the BBB alert.
