Windows watermark won’t go away

I ran into the same issue a few months ago after a system update and nothing in the usual settings seemed to help. That’s when I looked into kms activator as part of a troubleshooting process to understand how activation behaves in Windows. It turned out the real problem was a mismatch in system edition, and once that was sorted, the watermark finally disappeared. It’s worth double-checking your version before trying deeper fixes.

I ignored the “Activate Windows” watermark for a while, but now it’s becoming distracting during work. I’ve tried every suggestion I could find, but it still won’t disappear. Even when I run the activation troubleshooter, it just loops me back to the same screen. Has anyone found a legit fix that actually works?
