New doesn’t mean old is no longer relevant. Many players have dedicated more than one year of their life to CS:GO, they are used to and understand the physics, mechanics, movement, shooting, feeling of impact and so on. New is new, and even though the idea is the same, a lot has changed, which leads to the feeling that “the game feels different”. Not everyone understands different things, settings, guides that you can check here, not everyone cares about changing these settings or improving something. In other words, I think CS2 is just a new game for a different audience.

CS2 is already out. And I read that this version is basically the same thing, just newer, more modern, more interesting, with more features and all that. So why do people still play old CS:GO?
