The new Melaleuca global headquarters in Idaho Falls is open and ready for business. Monday Melaleuca held its grand open house for employees and their families.
The 355,000 square foot building was completed in late November and can house 1,400 employees
The Melaleuca headquarters has four levels, seven research labs, six production studios, and a 500 person call center.
The new facility now houses all of Melaleuca's operations under one roof. Before they were throughout various buildings in Idaho Falls.
CEO Frank Vandersloot says it's exciting to see so many years of work come together.
“It’s been really exciting," said Vandersloot. "Not only to see the building coming together and to have it be built like you originally envisioned it, but to finally get moved in and to see that it’s functioning like we intended to function, and to see how well received it is by the employees.”
It took just over two years to complete the building. Vandersloot says the new facility has the capability to expand to three times its size.
