Mobile Traders Report The Direct Selling Association (DSA) is pleased with the release of the Commerce Commissions report today on Mobile or Home Shopping Trucks.

The Direct Selling Association (DSA) is pleased with the release of the Commerce Commissions report today on Mobile or Home Shopping Trucks.

Executive Director Garth Wyllie said, “The report highlighted that only one company was fully compliant and the Direct Selling Association is pleased that this company is currently the only member of the Home Shopping Truck Sector to be a member of the Direct Selling Association and fully compliant with the DSA Code of practice.”

The DSA has been keen to promote compliance with its Code of Practice by all Home Shopping Trucks as it provides both clear guidance to complying with the law but also offers consumer’s more protection that is provided by the law.

Mr Wyllie said that if the public wanted to ensure they were dealing with companies that were complying with the law then they should deal only with those companies that are signed up to the DSA Code of Practice. These companies are listed on the DSA web site.

The DSA provides a complaint process to resolve issues for consumers at no cost to the consumer when dealing with DSA member companies.
