ACN, Inc. Names Feeding America Domestic Hunger Partner

Concord, NC - ACN, Inc., the world’s largest direct seller of telecommunications, energy and other essential services, has officially named Feeding America® as its domestic hunger partner. ACN is extending its commitment to fighting child hunger with its Project Feeding Kids campaign. Through Project Feeding Kids, ACN’s Independent Business owners can help fight childhood hunger in the U.S. simply by doing what they are already doing – building their home-based businesses.

Feeding America is the largest domestic hunger-relief organization with a network of 200 local food banks reaching every county in the United States.

For over 20 years, ACN has supported a long and ever-growing list of charities around the world, with their efforts concentrated on those directly impacting children.  With this partnership, the company has pledged to help provide 1.5 million meals for kids in need in 2015, through the Feeding America network of food banks. Every time someone becomes an ACN customer, a meal is donated.  And every time those customers pay their select ACN bills each month, another meal is donated. In short, consumers will have an opportunity to make a difference in a child’s life by purchasing services they are already using and paying for anyway.

According to the USDA, one in five children in the United States struggles with hunger. That’s nearly 16 million children who lack regular access to safe, nutritionally adequate food. Feeding America works with its partners and network members to help combat this and strives to reach children where they are and at the times when they are most in need. The organization helps provide meals to over 12 million children in need each year.

ACN will donate one meal any time someone becomes a customer of the following services: ACN Digital Phone Service, ACN High Speed Internet, ACN Local and Long Distance, Flash Wireless, XOOM Energy, Vivint Security and Automation, Protect America, ADT, Dish, DirecTV, Verizon FiOS, ACN DigitalTalk® Express and Anovia Payments ($3,000 and above).

ACN will also donate one meal each time a customer pays their bill for the following services each month: ACN Digital Phone Service, ACN High Speed Internet, ACN Local and Long Distance, Flash Wireless and ACN DigitalTalk Express.
